Background:
Deena descends from a long wildly vivid Tak family lineage of Princes, Pirates, Archeologists, Space Miners, Smugglers and convicts. Deena's great-grandfather was a Corporate Sector Prince, her great-grandmother a Hapan Pirate, her grandparents Archeologists, and her parents Asteroid Miners. Deena has numerous relatives whom are either smugglers or career Kessel inmates.

Deena was born aboard a corporate retrofitted dreadnaught mining vessel, located in a nameless sector in the outer rim. Deena grew up aboard that vessel, amongst many other families of various species. Life aboard the centuries old retrofitted Invincible-class 2km Dreadnaught heavy cruiser was consistently monotonous and routine. Months could be spent at any given mining site until it was stripped clean of resources, be it an asteroid belt, or uninhabited planetary body. That didn't stop Deena from getting into trouble as she tried to make life interesting.

Occasionally, Deena would get into too much trouble one way or another, causing her parents to send her off-ship. Usually one of her relative's transports would be arriving or departing on a supply run, and be asked to take her along. If Deena was exceptionally lucky; read: annoy her relations enough to get fed up and take a big detour to get dropped off at her grandparents. Her grandparents were career Archeologists, more often than not, residing on site at one dig or another. It was at these digs, Deena was kept busy enough to keep mostly out of trouble. Deena's endless and fearless curiosity proved useful, she'd always be first into a dark cavern with a glowrod in hand and a synthrope line tied around her waist.

During Deena's teens to her parents dismay, Deena spent most of her time living with her grandparents or with Uncle Nos Tak. Uncle Nos was one of the more semi-legit tramp freighter relatives in the Tak family. Uncle Nos was also her dad's eldest brother whom never had any children of his own. Nos Tak eked out a comfortable living hauling cargo across the galaxy. He led a mostly lonely life highlighted with the odd shady deal, had a lover at every port, and lived for Sabacc tournaments. And of course, Deena, whom was like the daughter he never had. On Deena's 20th birthday, Nos doted on her the premise of his old freighter upon recently winning a sponsored Sabacc championship tournament. It wasn't long after when Uncle Nos began teaching Deena all that she would need to know to take over his business. Once Uncle Nos seen for himself that Deena was capably and comfortably running things on her own, he announced his own retirement.


Personality:
Deena was practically born a tomboy, roughhousing it all the way through to adulthood. Deena's a tough as durasteel gal who never backs down from a fight. Often she could be found in the center of a cantina brawl. More often than not which she probably started in the first place by slugging some drunk who'd be too stupid to take the hint that she wasn't interested. Hours later with a cracked lip, she'd still painfully crack a smile, grinning from ear to ear over a mug of ale in the cantina next door proudly saying "Yup, that was so worth it..."

Deena's about as loyal and reliable as they come. Even when the situation gets hot and thick, she always pulls through and delivers. She's a natural extrovert, not a shy bone exists in her body. To Deena, landing neck deep in industrial goop, getting a face smeared black with grease; and getting her cloths torn and shredded is all part of the job. She's got a witty sense of humor, takes most things with a tongue and cheek attitude, just don't piss her off...
